About the course

This course provides a definition and overview of strength and conditioning as well as differences between strength and conditioning coaches and personal trainers. We explore aerobic vs anaerobic work and rep and set schemes for strength training based on goals. Finally, we look at periodization and programming on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly spectrum.

Instructor

I am the owner of Perfect Ten Physical Therapy where I provide PT and performance training services to clients that include gymnasts, dancers, and active adults. I got my doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in 2015 and my CSCS in 2016. Prior to that, I graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2012 with a B.S. in Kinesiology. My mission is to educate patients and other professionals on the importance of maintaining the body for optimal health. Outside of my profession, I enjoy working out, hiking with my puppy April and trying new restaurants!
