About the course
Chemistry is not an easy subject and whether you are in need of a crash course, a refresher course or you just love chemistry, this workshop is for you. Taught in line with New York state high school education standards, this Gooroo Live series of lectures is designed to help students understand ‘what causes a reaction to actually go through’ by covering Rate Laws and Equilibrium constants, factors that affect reaction rates, Le Chatelier’s Principle, Entropy, and Gibbs Free energy from thermodynamics. Even though the semester just ended, many of us are still in need of a few supplementary classes to help us ace next year.

Hi! I'm a Rabi Science scholar studying Biology at Columbia University. Having tutored students at all levels, I firmly believe there is no one method for a student to succeed. Every student has their own set of learning objectives that they'd like to achieve from a course. And so, my style of teaching focuses on gauging my students' abilities and interests to create personalized learning and test-taking strategies to help them reach their goals. Whether that means cracking a test or exploring a new subject for pleasure, my aim is to guide my students there, while imbuing them with a love or interest for the content in the process!
