About the course
Learn how to round to the nearest tens, hundreds, and thousands place!
This course will talk about how rounding works and the idea behind rounding. This course will also provide a useful strategy for remembering how to round. We will also go through many problems together, so you will master how to round to the nearest ten, hundred and thousand!
Instructor
Hello! My name is Yan Li and I am a teacher. I have taught as a student teacher in Boston for 4 years and I tutor in China over the summers. I am from Guangzhou, China and New York City. I am currently in my last year of studying elementary education at Boston College Lynch School of Education and Human Development. I am also enrolled in the Master's program for Curriculum and Instruction at Boston College, which I will complete in the upcoming year. My favorite part of teaching is getting to know students and creating course materials that engage students to make learning fun and accessible. I believe that each student is fully capable of understanding material. It just depends on how the material is presented to them. My goal is to meet each student where they are at and support them.
