About the course

This course is an introduction to the fascinating world of chemistry. We will explore the very basics of chemistry with exploration of what is meant by studying chemistry—from matter, elements, compounds, to elements. Throughout the course, we dive into the background history to what we know today about the topics.

My name is Alice and I’m a third year medical student at Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. I got my bachelor’s from Emory University in chemistry and my master’s from Columbia University in bioethics. I’ve been tutoring on and off since high in test prep, English and science.
