About the course
Build on your jewelry skills by making something different - a book dart! In this course you will learn the basics of working with jewelry metal by working on this low stakes book mark accessory. We will cover how to prepare your materials, how to cut and file the metal, and how to start texturizing your metal. In the end you will have new skills and a page marker!
Instructor
Hello! My name is Arianna and I am a multidisciplinary artist, scholar, and organizer. I recently graduated from Hampshire College with a BA in Visual and Performing Arts Curation, and a Certificate in Arts Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am currently living in my home state of Minnesota, and I am excited to share with you my knowledge of theatre, print, book, and jewelry making. I have taught workshops to people of all ages in these subjects, and I have been a youth tutor for three years. I enjoy learning new things and making new things, and I hope my students share that excitement.
