About the course

Looking for a place to store your drawings, song lyrics, or new ideas? Well, how about a handmade zine, simple journal, or notepad! In this course, we will continue to learn different easy ways to bind books at home! We will go over a zine fold, a modified Perfect Bind, and a Japanese Side Stitch. By the end of the course, you will have 3 uniquely put together books.

Hello! My name is Arianna and I am a multidisciplinary artist, scholar, and organizer. I recently graduated from Hampshire College with a BA in Visual and Performing Arts Curation, and a Certificate in Arts Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am currently living in my home state of Minnesota, and I am excited to share with you my knowledge of theatre, print, book, and jewelry making. I have taught workshops to people of all ages in these subjects, and I have been a youth tutor for three years. I enjoy learning new things and making new things, and I hope my students share that excitement.
