About the course

Kinematics is a branch of mechanics that describes the motion of objects without introducing forces just yet. In this unit, we will explore our first set of equations for AP Physics 1 that describe an object’s motion.

AP Physics 1 is an algebra-based, introduction to college-level physics courses. The framework of this course is organized into 10 commonly taught units of study. Each unit contains information that needs to be understood in order to prepare students for taking the AP Physics exam given by College Board AP.
