About the course
I have over five years of tutoring experience for the SAT, ACT, and high school admissions tests. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in History from the University of Notre Dame and my Masters in Education from Relay G.S.E. and have been a classroom teacher in New York City.
My favorite thing about teaching is watching students gain confidence in themselves as they are challenged, struggle, and push through to succeed. I believe that all students can improve and succeed with encouragement and consistent practice, and love that moment for students when things start to “click”. With SAT scores in the 98th percentile, I saw that by practicing and preparing for the SAT I was able to improve my score from my first practice test by over 200 points. I also have played the violin since I was 4 years old, and love trying new songs and playing for fun. In my spare time, I enjoy making music on my violin and love to cook for my family and friends.
