About the course

What can you hear when you listen to music? Why do some pieces pump you up while others make you cry? How can you describe these differences? Using words, shapes, and colors we'll explore how emotions are captured in melody, rhythm, and harmony.

Interpret music with a critical ear by learning the fundamental tenets of musicianship.
