About the course

Cut, Carve, and Print! In this course, we will expand on our skills of how to make linocut print at home. We will be making a reduction print by carving away, or reducing parts of our linoleum block, and printing one color at a time from light to dark. I will take you through all of the steps in how to make a small edition of multicolor prints.

Hello! My name is Arianna and I am a multidisciplinary artist, scholar, and organizer. I recently graduated from Hampshire College with a BA in Visual and Performing Arts Curation, and a Certificate in Arts Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am currently living in my home state of Minnesota, and I am excited to share with you my knowledge of theatre, print, book, and jewelry making. I have taught workshops to people of all ages in these subjects, and I have been a youth tutor for three years. I enjoy learning new things and making new things, and I hope my students share that excitement.
