About the course
Drawing is a valuable skill for a printmaker. We will start this course with a lesson on how to make a panda drawing. After learning how to draw a panda, we will dive into how to cut out our sketch to make it into a series of paper cut stencils. Then we will ink up our plate and make a one of a kind panda monoprint at home!
Instructor
Hello! My name is Arianna and I am a multidisciplinary artist, scholar, and organizer. I recently graduated from Hampshire College with a BA in Visual and Performing Arts Curation, and a Certificate in Arts Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am currently living in my home state of Minnesota, and I am excited to share with you my knowledge of theatre, print, book, and jewelry making. I have taught workshops to people of all ages in these subjects, and I have been a youth tutor for three years. I enjoy learning new things and making new things, and I hope my students share that excitement.
