About the course

You've applied for college and financial aid, but now your college is asking you for additional documents? One in three students gets their FAFSA and financial aid verified each year, and completing this process can be challenging to resolve. This course goes entirely into the verification process, what it is, why it's important, and what to do to get out of it. We'll also discuss common mistakes and helpful resources to best prepare you and get you through financial aid verification.

I have worked for the past three years as a college adviser helping high school students with the college admissions process. During this time, I helped students with their college essays, SAT/ACT prep, and their college applications. I have also helped tutor peers in college and high school as well as led a middle school mentoring program.
