About the course

Applying for a job can be overwhelming; in this course I will break down the steps to show my students that it is not as daunting as they may have expected. We will go through formatting and content for both resumes and cover letters to ensure they uphold a level of professionalism. We will then use the skills highlighted on your resume to write your cover letter. We will also go through company culture and job descriptions to ensure the cover letters are personalized to the specific role.

    Ariella is finishing up her senior year at Barnard where she will graduate with a BA in Economics. She has been tutoring for 6 years and works with students ranging in age from 6-20. While Ariella specializes in Economics, she has a strong sense of numbers and also tutors students in math.
