About the course
In senior year I was lost. I didn't know where I wanted to go to college, what I wanted to study, and where I wanted to live. If that sounds like you, then you should do what I did: take a gap year. I made the year between high school and college the best of my life. I traveled to Cape Town in South Africa and learned about finance, interned at a top lending firm, made incredible friends, and admired the city's incredible landscapes. I lived in Shanghai, China where I learned Chinese, worked alongside top entrepreneurs in the city and tasted incredible Chinese dishes. Thanks to my experiences, I am a well-rounded professional, a curious learner, and an overall happier person.

Hi! My name is Lavinia and I have been a tutor since high school. I've taught students from all over the world in different subjects. I am from Rome, Italy but currently live in New York City attending New York University. I am majoring in Business and Political Economy and I am minoring in Chinese.I am currently a Business Development intern at Silicon Valley Bank. My favorite part about tutoring is helping students understand complex topics by teaching in a very simple and organized way.
