About the course

Photography is all about how you capture the world. In this course, we’ll break down some of the things to look for while you’re out and about. There are so many principles of art and design that can elevate your photography skills, as well as many tips and tricks on how to utilize light and color to bring your photographs to the next level. This course will dive into the basics of each of these things, and we’ll look through multiple examples to help you develop a better understanding. Once you get it, creating great photographs will come easily!

I have experience teaching various workshops to high school students, as well as working with grad school kids on understand homework. I have also facilitated leadership activities for high school students.

Media is an ever-changing landscape. I've spent many years exploring film, writing, art, and of course, photography. Though the fast pace practices of each discipline many be overwhelming at times, my courses will help you learn the ins and outs of the industry. By breaking it down to its basics, we can keep up with new trends and software with ease.
