Raising the Barre: Fitness for All Levels, Class 1
10 exercises at the barre. Each exercise has to be done twice from the right and then the left side in order to strengthen the balance in the body. Exercises will progress gradually from easiest to the hardest at the end of the workout. This practice developed to improve your posture, support musicality, work on your movement quality and muscle memory. The teacher is a Vaganova style ( Russian ballet) trained professional dancer and instructor working with children and adults from around the world for 15 years.
Classically Trained Ballerina
I was born in Russia and received my training in Moscow at The Academy of Classical Ballet under the direction of Gennady Ledyakh. I've also earned her degree in theatre and dance history at the Russian Academy of Theatrical Art RATI- GITIS.
For several years I have been a member of the Russian National Ballet company and traveled internationally with a large classical ballet repertoire.
In the US I performed with Gelsey Kirkland Ballet company, and as a guest principal dancer with Victoria Ballet Theatre, Metropolitan Ballet, Ballet Long Island. Besides dancing herself I've been teaching children and adults for over 15 years.
